As a Vice President, Global Technology Strategy, you will join the Global Technology team to address the firm's most pressing technological priorities. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, utilizing a strategy consulting toolkit—including problem framing, critical thinking, and analysis—to solve complex, cross-cutting technology problems. Your daily responsibilities involve leading project teams end-to-end, developing executive narratives, building scalable operating models, and mentoring junior talent. You must possess deep technical knowledge of the evolving AI landscape, specifically regarding its application and governance within financial institutions. Key skills include stakeholder management, translating complex technical challenges into clear strategic directions, and proficiency with AI tools for operational efficiency. The role focuses on navigating high-stakes decisions involving enterprise technology initiatives, machine learning, cloud development, and emerging technologies like agentic and generative AI.
Advise senior technology leaders as a trusted partner on high-stakes, consequential strategic questions.
Lead project teams end-to-end from initial problem framing to delivering defensible, agreed-upon solutions.
Translate complex technical challenges into clear, executive-ready narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Develop and socialize scalable frameworks, operating models, and roadmaps across a large, distributed organization.
Monitor AI trends and industry developments specifically relevant to financial institutions to inform firmwide strategy.
Drive alignment among diverse stakeholders to move from strategic decisions toward execution.
Mentor junior team members on professional development, technical skills, and communication.
What we're looking for
Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, a technology field, or a related field.
7+ years of business and technology strategy experience with proven end-to-end ownership of complex work.
Experience advising senior leaders on enterprise technology strategy within a large, complex corporate environment.
Strong fluency in core technical concepts and enterprise operating models to interface with technologists and engineers.
Strong grasp of the evolving AI landscape, specifically regarding adoption and governance in financial institutions.
Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical challenges into executive-ready narratives for diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency using AI tools and platforms in day-to-day work for operational efficiency.
Authoritative grasp of AI governance, model risk management, and firmwide transformation (preferred); hands-on experience with agentic AI development tools (preferred).
