JOB TITLE: Vice President, Product and Software Security
The Vice President, Product and Software Security leads the global Product and Software Security organization to ensure security, trust, and resilience across the company's technology ecosystem. Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, this leader defines the vision for secure-by-default architectures and manages teams spanning Product Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management, and Offensive Security. Key responsibilities include establishing security strategies for AI-powered products, reducing systemic risk through scalable engineering practices, and partnering with Engineering and Cloud Operations to embed security into the software development lifecycle. The role requires deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, software supply chain security, and modern security engineering. The position addresses the technical challenge of balancing rapid engineering velocity with long-term security investments while ensuring safety and trust are foundational to all digital products and services.
Define and implement the global vision and strategy for Product and Software Security.
Drive systemic risk reduction by implementing secure-by-default architectures and engineering practices.
Develop and execute a security strategy specifically for AI-powered products and services.
Lead a global organization including Product Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management, and Offensive Security.
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing technical leaders and security talent.
Partner with executive leaders to balance security investments with business priorities and engineering velocity.

What we're looking for
Proven success leading large-scale Product Security, Software Security, Application Security, or related organizations within complex global technology companies.
Deep expertise in secure software development, cloud-native architectures, software supply chain security, and modern security engineering practices.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior engineering, product, platform, and business leaders to translate technical risks into strategic priorities.
Strong executive presence, business judgment, and communication skills with a track record of building organizations and developing leadership talent.
Familiarity with the opportunities and security considerations associated with AI-powered products and services.
Ability to lead a global organization spanning Product Security Engineering, Security Partnerships, Vulnerability Management, and Offensive Security.
Experience implementing secure-by-default architectures, platforms, controls, and engineering practices to reduce systemic risk.
