What you'll do

  • Manage the Security Engineering, Security Operations (SecOps), and GRC functions, including hiring and performance management.
  • Set and execute the strategy for security engineering, operations, and GRC to ensure a coordinated program.
  • Own the security governance framework and compliance posture against regulations like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Oversee the security engineering roadmap, threat detection, incident response, and post-incident regulatory notifications.
  • Lead the enterprise security risk management program, including risk assessments, treatment, and the risk register.
  • Manage the combined budget for security engineering, SecOps, and GRC functions.
  • Provide leadership continuity for the CISO by making executive decisions and representing the security program to the board.
  • Deliver security metrics, KPIs, and risk reporting to executive leadership and audit committees.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Must have 10+ years of progressive information security experience spanning technical security engineering and GRC.
  • Must have 8+ years of leadership experience directly managing security engineering, security operations, or GRC teams.
  • Must have experience managing SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar certification and audit processes from initiation through completion.
  • Must have experience with international security standards (NIST, ISO, SOC 2) and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Must have experience managing third-party and vendor risk management programs.
  • Must have experience designing and operating enterprise risk assessment, risk register, and audit or certification processes.
  • Must be authorized to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws and regulations.
