Vendor Specialist, Data Center Facilities Operations

What you'll do

• Manage vendor execution activities to ensure contracts and service scopes align with uptime, safety, and quality standards.
• Oversee the end-to-end vendor lifecycle including selection, onboarding, contract implementation, and performance tracking.
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs while driving corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop business continuity plans for critical service providers.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor documentation, insurance certificates, and compliance artifacts.
• Identify and resolve performance gaps, commercial risks, and process inefficiencies to improve service consistency.
• Manage service transitions, contract renewals, and scope expansions in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Provide data-backed reporting on vendor performance and compliance status to regional and functional leadership.

What we're looking for

• Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in the relevant field.
• Must have 3–5+ years of experience in vendor management, contract administration, or related roles.
• Experience managing critical vendors in data centers, facilities, construction, or other uptime-sensitive environments.
• Proficiency in contract management, procurement activities, and vendor negotiation.
• Strong skills in conflict resolution, data-driven reporting, and cross-functional communication.
• Working knowledge of safety, compliance, and risk-management practices in operational environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Facilities, Procurement, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with supplier strategy, cost reduction, or procurement systems is preferred.
