As a Validation Engineer, you will join the team to address data flow challenges from the System Under Test to the Cloud and back to engineers. You will be accountable for automated monitoring of data store health and readiness while owning data automation tasks including generation, ingress, conversion, egress, and documentation. Your daily work involves optimizing data processes and transformations to improve efficacy for staff and compute resources, performing hands-on debugging to root cause performance issues, and collaborating with multi-functional teams on test activities. You will utilize a technical stack including SQL, JSON, Python, .Net, Java, JavaScript, C#, XML, and tools such as Looker, PowerBI, Sigma, Excel, GitHub, Nifi, ADF, Azure DevOps, Snowflake ELT, and SCADA systems to solve complex data analysis and delivery challenges.

What you'll do

Manage the automated monitoring of data store health and readiness.
Own end-to-end data automation including generation, ingress, conversion, egress, and documentation.
Optimize data processes and transformations to improve staff and compute resource efficiency.
Define and publish critical metrics for product and process health.
Perform hands-on debugging to root cause performance and data flow challenges.
Provide targeted ad hoc analysis methodologies for multi-functional technical teams.
Collaborate with specialists on program test activities and process improvements.

What we're looking for

Expertise in SQL, JSON, and Python.
Strong knowledge of .Net, Java, JavaScript, C#, and XML.
Proven experience with databases and BI tools including SQL, No-SQL, Looker, PowerBI, Sigma, and Excel.
Experience with process flow tools such as GitHub, Nifi, ADF, Azure DevOps, and Snowflake ELT.
Knowledge of SCADA automation systems, test device endpoint control, and API experience is preferred.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
