What you'll do

Lead the design and delivery of large-scale software, ML infrastructure, and platform capabilities.
Translate product and business strategy into scalable, resilient, and maintainable technical architectures.
Own the full software development lifecycle including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Drive system design reviews and perform root cause analysis for complex production and reliability issues.
Build cloud-native platforms, ML frameworks, and AI-driven applications to support intelligent workflows.
Productionize and serve machine learning models in real-time in partnership with data science teams.
Mentor engineers and influence technical direction to raise overall engineering standards.

What we're looking for

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area and 4 years of software engineering experience.
Option 2: 6 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
8+ years of software engineering experience (preferred).
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related area and 2 years of experience (preferred).
Strong experience in AdTech, Search, relevance, or large scale distributed systems.
Expertise building highly available, fault tolerant, cloud native services using microservices, containers, APIs, and automation.
Hands on proficiency in Java or another object oriented language, Spring, NoSQL, Kafka, Spark, and modern data platforms.
Experience partnering with Data Science teams to productionize and serve ML models in real time.
