The (USA) Senior Manager, Technology Operations manages key Search, Personalization, and Walmart Connect initiatives within the eCommerce business organization. Key responsibilities include maintaining program charters, performing hands-on data analysis to monitor program health, and translating commercial requirements into actionable operational plans. The role requires proficiency in program management, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination to solve complex problems regarding personalized content discovery and scalable advertising capabilities across digital platforms.
Drive the planning and execution of Search, Personalization, and Walmart Connect programs.
Maintain program charters and baselines for content retrieval and algorithmic ranking.
Configure and manage dynamic business dials to balance customer intent, relevance, and monetization.
Perform hands-on data analysis to monitor program health and evaluate performance trade-offs.
Translate commercial requirements into actionable search and ad-tech operational plans.
Coordinate Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to deliver integrated technology solutions.
Facilitate operational discussions and align deliverables with key business decision-makers.
What we're looking for
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
Option 2: 7 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or a related area.
2 years of supervisory experience.
Proven track record managing technology programs in search, e-commerce, or retail media.
Strong hands-on data proficiency to analyze performance datasets and evaluate trade-offs.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
Practical understanding of search retrieval and ranking to balance user experience and revenue.
Master’s degree in a related field and 4 years of experience in project management, program management, or program operations (preferred).
Knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies (preferred).
