Transport Field Regional Lead

What you'll do

• Manage a large technical team of 10-20 employees and supplier partners to support network operations and incident management.
• Lead complex IT projects and initiatives while balancing resource priorities to meet scheduled deployment goals.
• Oversee COMSEC local element support, including managing hardware/software assets and performing key loads into encryption devices.
• Develop and maintain the Master Training Syllabus and conduct training for staff to ensure baseline skillsets are maintained.
• Ensure team compliance with SAAR-N/PAA requirements and mandatory recurring security training.
• Manage customer relationships and provide technical support for escalated issues within a 24/7 NetOps environment.
• Create and improve technical documentation, including Knowledge Management articles and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP).
• Monitor and approve time charging for all staff members using Deltek and SLICS systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, or a Master’s degree and 6 years of experience are required.
• DoD Secret Security Clearance is required with the ability to upgrade to Top Secret (preferred).
• Minimum of DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, or CYSA+) is required.
• At least 4 years of SMIT/NMCI program support as a FBNE is required.
• Extensive experience in operations and engineering leadership within a large-matrixed organization is required.
• Working knowledge of ITIL framework, defense-in-depth principles, and network security architecture is required.
• Experience managing technical teams, customer relationships, and project execution in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Master’s degree, Top Secret clearance, and ITIL or Agile certifications are preferred.
