Trade Desk Specialist

What you'll do

• Provide real-time technical support and troubleshooting for clients regarding trading, connectivity, and market data.
• Resolve complex issues related to FIX protocols, API functionality, and low-latency trading systems.
• Perform system health checks and monitor market data feeds to identify and triage operational anomalies.
• Conduct technical diagnostics using Linux command-line tools, log analysis, and SQL queries for investigation.
• Manage the end-to-end documentation of issues, including root cause analysis and resolution outcomes.
• Facilitate seamless handovers between global regional teams during the follow-the-sun trading cycle.
• Support new client onboarding by conducting FIX connectivity certification and production readiness testing.
• Develop and maintain operational runbooks, escalation procedures, and internal process improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a trading desk, financial services, or technical operations environment.
• Expertise in electronic trading platforms and market infrastructure within FX markets and low-latency environments.
• Proficiency in Linux, including command-line diagnostics, log analysis, and basic shell scripting.
• Solid SQL skills to independently query and analyze trading and operational data.
• Working knowledge of FIX protocol and experience supporting FIX-connected clients or counterparties.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, latency, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Authorized to work.
