What you'll do

Design tooling such as electrical checkout racks, vehicle harnessing, and data acquisition setups.
Develop and document test procedures for both development and flight hardware.
Execute automated test scripts and provide data to determine pass/fail criteria.
Troubleshoot failing hardware in hitl and factory environments and write rework instructions.
Configure Linux-based servers for use in production and testing environments.
Fabricate and repair cable harnesses including soldering, crimping, and assembling connectors.
Support satellite qualification tests such as thermal vacuum (TVAC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Improve test automation software using Python to reduce false failures and increase coverage.

What we're looking for

High school degree or equivalency certificate.
2+ years of experience in a hands-on technical position or a bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
1+ years of experience performing electronic testing and inspection using portable measuring devices.
5+ years of experience reading electrical schematics to rework boards or perform tests.
Experience with test operations procedures including thermal, vibration, vacuum, shock, and EMI.
Ability to troubleshoot interconnected systems and interpret electro-mechanical schematics.
Proficiency in Python for software development and experience working with Linux-based systems.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for export control authorizations.
