What you'll do

Design and develop automated test solutions for complex, space-grade hardware.
Select commercial-off-the-shelf components and design custom PCBAs to measure signals and power units under test.
Write Python automation software to interact with test equipment, instrumentation, and production data systems.
Develop functional test plans to verify and validate product requirements using various measurement tools.
Analyze electrical schematics and manufacturing processes to improve test coverage and reliability.
Perform environmental testing such as thermal, vibration, and TVAC to ensure hardware durability in space.
Identify and implement simple solutions to complex engineering problems to improve product yield.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline.
5+ years of experience in hardware development or electronics test engineering.
Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in programming languages, specifically Python and C/C++, to develop object-oriented software.
Experience with test equipment and measurement techniques including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
Expertise in designing, troubleshooting, and analyzing PCBAs and electrical schematics.
Understanding of electronics reliability, failure mechanisms, and environmental testing like HALT/HASS or TVAC.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
