Senior Electrical Test Engineer, AI Satellites

What you'll do

• Design and develop automated test solutions for complex, space-grade hardware.
• Select commercial-off-the-shelf hardware and design custom PCBAs to measure signals and apply flight-like loads.
• Write Python automation software to interact with units under test, test equipment, and production documentation systems.
• Provide feedback to design and manufacturing engineers to drive improvements in product reliability and yield.
• Analyze circuits and develop functional test plans to verify and validate product requirements.
• Perform environmental testing including HALT/HASS, thermal, vibration, and TVAC.
• Analyze electrical schematics and electronics manufacturing to improve test coverage.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with hardware development or electronics test engineering.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (preferred).
• Strong grasp of analog control, discrete logic design, and circuit analysis (preferred).
• Experience designing and troubleshooting PCBAs and developing functional test plans (preferred).
• Experience with test equipment, measurement techniques, and electronics manufacturing (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and object-oriented software development (preferred).
