As an Electrical Test Engineer on the Battlespace Awareness Radar team, you will support the development of next-generation radar systems from ideation through initial production. Working within an interdisciplinary technical team, you will perform integration and developmental testing for complex electrical subsystems, including high-speed digital and RF components. Your daily responsibilities include conducting environmental testing to ensure reliability, creating test procedures for printed circuit board validation, and designing automation to streamline processes. You will utilize tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and current probes while leveraging Python for test automation scripting. Required expertise includes analog and digital electronics, signal and power integrity debugging, and familiarity with interfaces like Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB. You will also use CAD tools like Altium to support the development of advanced radar technology.

What you'll do

Conduct integration and developmental testing of complex electrical subsystems including high-speed digital and RF components.
Perform environmental testing to ensure radar reliability across various operating conditions.
Create and update test procedures to validate printed circuit board performance against design targets.
Design and implement test automation to streamline the validation process.
Troubleshoot and debug signal integrity and power integrity issues in complex board designs.
Develop custom test fixtures to support hardware testing and troubleshooting.
Utilize Python or other scripting languages for data acquisition and automated control.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting complex board designs.
Experience with analog and digital electronics testing and troubleshooting.
Proficiency with test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, current probes, and automation.
Familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB.
Proficiency in electronic CAD tools like Altium or Eagle.
Experience with test automation scripting using Python for data acquisition and control.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
