As an Advanced Test Engineer, you will join a collaborative engineering team to perform research and laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems. You will be responsible for performing test and evaluation efforts in support of system level testing, developing and maintaining test documentation, managing hardware and software configurations, and verifying bug resolutions. Key skills include experience writing and reporting on test procedures, Software GUI testing, Linux command line familiarity, and knowledge of computer system and switch architecture. This position focuses on solving complex problems in cyber, RF, undersea, and interstellar domains while providing technical support for navy submarine testing and integration efforts.

What you'll do

Perform test and evaluation efforts to support system level testing.

What we're looking for

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science, Technology, or Mathematics field.
Candidates must have 5 years of job-related experience or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Experience writing, running, and reporting on test procedures is preferred.
Familiarity with Linux command line and computer system/switch architecture is desired.
Experience with Software GUI testing is an ideal qualification.
Ability to travel to pier-side events to support Navy submarine testing is required.
