Tenable RHEL ACAS Administrator

What you'll do

• Manage and perform system administration for all Tenable ACAS Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
• Install and update Tenable software in compliance with STIG requirements.
• Deploy, maintain, and tune Tenable scanners, Nessus Managers, and Nessus Agents.
• Develop and manage Tenable scan configurations to meet organizational needs.
• Conduct monthly vulnerability scans and provide detailed reports to leadership.
• Create repositories, queries, and dashboards to ensure vulnerability information is accessible.
• Investigate false positives and develop tracking mechanisms until findings are corrected.
• Troubleshoot Tenable components and provide solution engineering support for complex environments.

What we're looking for

• Active Secret Security Clearance or higher is required.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of IT experience including RHEL, Tenable Security Center, and Tenable Nessus agents in a DoD environment.
• Cyber courses or certifications may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification is required.
• Current RHEL certification or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of start date.
• Experience running ACAS on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and general RHEL administration and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience with multiple network security zones, subnetting, VRFs, and VLANs.
• Cybersecurity experience within a Computer Incident Response organization (preferred).
