What you'll do

Maintain and enhance Linux systems and infrastructure for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.
Ensure high availability, security, and integrity for the operating environment.
Administer Linux operating systems including RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, or Rocky Linux.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems within the systems infrastructure.
Perform hardware installation and maintenance, including firmware upgrades.
Manage enterprise backup and restore solutions, storage area networks (SAN), and network attached storage (NAS).
Develop and execute scripts using tools such as Python, Perl, Bash, or PowerShell.
Support DevOps architecture using tools like Kubernetes, Nexus, Harbor, Docker, and GitLab.

What we're looking for

Active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
IAT Level II certification such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Security+.
High school diploma or GED equivalent with 6 years relevant experience (for Systems Administrator) or 9 years (for Principal).
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years related experience (for Systems Administrator) or 5 years (for Principal).
Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years related experience (for Systems Administrator) or 3 years (for Principal).
Minimum of three years of experience with Systems Administration for Linux Operating Systems such as RHEL, CentOS, or Rocky Linux.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Experience with network administration, scripting, hardware maintenance, backup solutions, Atlassian tools, and DevOps architecture (preferred).
