As an Engineer, Technology I, you will join the team to provide expert consultation across all phases of software and application development projects. You will be responsible for developing architecture and design for new platform capabilities, building proofs of concept, establishing design standards, and overseeing code branching and CI/CD pipelines. The role involves managing technical architecture for Snowflake, Gen AI, and AWS products while conducting research to solve business problems and improve patient experience. You will utilize Python, Apache Spark, and Hadoop within the AWS ecosystem, employing services like S3, Glue, Athena, and Lambda. Additionally, you will build Generative AI applications using Langchain, Llama Index, RAG, and GraphRAG, while managing data pipelines with Airflow or Autosys and creating reports via Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI to ensure data integrity and security.
Provide expert consultation on all phases of software and application development projects.

What we're looking for
Must have a BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Electronics, or another quantitative field.
Must have 4 years of experience as a data engineer.
Must have 4 years of experience spearheading design and deployment of robust and secure data architectures using EMR Hadoop and Spark within the AWS ecosystem.
Must have 4 years of experience developing applications using Python with object-oriented and functional programming principles.
Must have 4 years of experience engineering batch and real-time streaming architectures using Apache Spark.
Must have 4 years of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines via GitHub or Azure DevOps and optimizing workflows with Airflow or Autosys.
Must have 2 years of experience developing data solutions in AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, IAM) and managing Redshift or Snowflake.
Must have 1 year of experience preparing reports using Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI, and developing Generative AI applications using Langchain and Llama Index.
