As a Technical Project Manager - Software Engineering, Jira, Agile environment within the Securities Service Technology Project Execution team, you will lead complex technology projects and programs focused on modernization and AWS cloud adoption. You will develop end-to-end project plans, manage portfolios of projects, and mitigate risks related to cybersecurity, vulnerability, recovery, resiliency, and capacity. Your daily work involves collaborating with application development, infrastructure, site reliability, and information security teams to deliver technical requirements while tracking costs for hardware and software upgrades. You will utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate project planning and risk synthesis while ensuring human review of all outputs. The role requires proficiency in Jira, Confluence, M365, Verum, and ServiceNow. You will navigate a highly governed environment to solve infrastructure challenges and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment on project goals.
Develop and execute end-to-end project plans including scope, milestones, resourcing, and timelines.
Drive the delivery of multiple concurrent projects while prioritizing work and unblocking technical teams.
Identify and mitigate delivery, technology, and operational risks using actionable risk management strategies.
Manage a portfolio of projects and track metrics related to cybersecurity, resiliency, and capacity.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate project planning, risk synthesis, and reporting.
Partner with cross-functional teams like infrastructure, security, and SRE to deliver technical requirements.
Facilitate modernization efforts focused on application design improvements and AWS cloud adoption.
Track project costs and progress for hardware and software upgrades to ensure transparency of spend.
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program or project management leading complex technology projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead through the full project lifecycle while influencing decision makers and adapting to change.
Proven stakeholder management skills with a track record of building productive relationships across teams.
Strong technical fluency with familiarity in tools such as M365, Jira, Confluence, Verum, and ServiceNow.
Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and delivery roadblocks.
Experience developing and maintaining project plans including scope, timelines, and resource coordination.
Experience producing clear project reporting, status updates, and written investigations.
Experience in the technology industry or software engineering; experience with financial services, global teams, or operational risk controls (preferred).
