Technical Program Manager, iPad

What you'll do

• Drive yield, efficiency, and other production metrics to achieve target goals for mass-production processes.
• Manage factory setup and technical operations for optical module manufacturing including SMT, assembly, and testing.
• Provide executive-level status reports including build readiness reviews and new product reviews.
• Analyze data from factories and the field to develop action plans and quality decisions.
• Incorporate lessons learned into designs using predictive methods to identify and avoid issues early.
• Communicate key concerns and resolution options to senior management in a timely manner.
• Manage project schedules, risks, and escalations while leading multi-functional teams toward production goals.

What we're looking for

• Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial preferred) or a graduate degree in supply chain and/or operations.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with design and/or manufacturing process development.
• Knowledge of optics, electronics, projector module manufacturing, mechanics, and automation.
• Experience using process control methodologies, PFMEA, and in-depth failure analysis methods.
• Experience compiling data for product designs and assembly drawings using DOE and Six Sigma principles.
• Demonstrated program management skills including schedule management, risk management, and escalation.
• Proven track record of leading multi-functional teams to achieve quality, yield, and cost objectives.
• Experience working with international OEM partners and managing high-volume mass production throughput.
