What you'll do

Coordinate all aspects of testing activities including personnel, equipment, datalinks, facilities, and legal compliance.
Act as Project Engineer for small UAS, missile, or weapon systems to manage development, certification, and integration tests.
Author technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, flight cards, and formal test reports.
Lead the execution of multi-department test events and manage associated resource constraints and schedules.
Participate in requirements development, design reviews, safety review boards, and test readiness reviews.
Perform hardware and software testing with a focus on ground/flight testing and process improvement.
Establish safe operational procedures and lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) initiatives.

What we're looking for

Must have a bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
Must have 8+ years of test engineering experience.
Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Must have prior experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD).
Must have prior experience as a test director, test conductor, or equivalent on flying systems.
Must have experience in SRM or liquid propulsion systems testing.
Must have knowledge of National Airspace System and UAS operating rules and regulations.
Must have working knowledge of MIL-STD standards (8591, 2088, 1553, 1760) and AS standards (8775, 5653).
