The Technical Product & Delivery Lead – AI Workflow Platform will lead a six-person global team of developers and engineers to manage and grow the AI workflow platform at Cat Financial. This role involves owning the platform backlog, prioritizing demand, and defining outcomes to deliver measurable business value. You will standardize delivery lifecycles, establish operating models, and manage technical, compliance, and delivery risks. Key responsibilities include driving proofs of concept, ensuring cybersecurity standards, and managing vendor processes. The role requires expertise in modern web application stacks including React, APIs, and AWS cloud services, alongside working knowledge of generative AI. You must navigate regulated industry requirements like SOX and IT risk while utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps, Snowflake, and ServiceNow to facilitate digital transformation.
Own the platform backlog by prioritizing demand, defining outcomes, and sequencing releases for business value.
Lead a 6-person global team of developers and engineers to remove blockers and maintain workflow.
Standardize the delivery lifecycle by establishing common workflows, milestones, and tools across teams.
Define and govern the application of AI and automation within the software delivery process.
Establish and improve the team's operating model, including development standards, release management, and audit-ready controls.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear requirements and make timely trade-off decisions.
Ensure cybersecurity standards and policies are integrated into platform design, delivery, and support.
Drive platform adoption through demos, training, and usage measurement while reporting progress to leadership.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience owning the backlog and releases for a software product or platform as a technical product owner, delivery lead, or engineering lead.
Experience holding a team accountable for software quality, including test planning, automation, regression testing, defect management, and user acceptance testing.
Technical background in modern web application stacks including React, APIs, and cloud services such as AWS.
Working knowledge of generative AI and how to apply it responsibly within software delivery.
Experience with Agile delivery and backlog tools (Azure DevOps preferred).
Experience applying AI or automation to software delivery in production (preferred).
Experience in financial services or other regulated industries involving SOX, audit, or IT risk (preferred).
