What you'll do

  • Deploy and support integrated hardware-software products directly for Department of War customers.
  • Resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues in unstructured environments.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and cloud environments.
  • Author technical documentation, training manuals, and instructions for end users and internal teams.
  • Provide end-to-end support including system pre-configuration and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Develop operational and logistical plans to ensure high availability of imaging systems.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable operational requirements and performance specifications.
  • Manage cross-functional projects to accelerate product deployment and integration across multiple teams.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in problem solving at the interface of hardware, software, and networking in unstructured environments.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with command line Linux troubleshooting and operation.
  • Experience translating and decomposing technical concepts into operational requirements and performance specifications.
  • Experience in project management and product deployment roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel more than 75% of the year to remote regions, including hazard zones.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • B.S. in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, or related technical field (preferred).
  • Network+ and Linux+ or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Experience with employing EO/IR and Imaging systems in military operations from the tactical to operational-level (preferred).
  • Prior military or overseas contracting experience (preferred).
