Technical Operations Engineer

What you'll do

• Deploy and support defense products globally throughout their entire product lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and networking issues in unstructured field environments.
• Administer and maintain Linux systems across all company products as a subject matter expert.
• Conduct root-cause analyses for field incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Pre-configure systems to ensure seamless integration with customer infrastructure.
• Train customers and teammates on product operation and technical troubleshooting.
• Develop comprehensive operational and logistical plans for various events and deployments.
• Communicate field issue statuses and product refinement recommendations to internal engineering teams.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in problem solving within unstructured environments at the interface of hardware, software, and networking.
• Demonstrated ability to train peers or customers on product operation.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and external customers to reconcile differing opinions.
• Proficiency in using hands and tools to assemble, repair, and maintain technical hardware in the field.
• Ability to travel to remote regions of the world for up to two months at a time (up to 75% of the year).
• Ability to relocate as needed.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret/Secret clearance.
• B.S. in computer science, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related technical field (preferred).
