Technical Manager – Civil Platforms

What you'll do

• Lead a team of systems engineers to deliver engineering excellence for bids, proposals, and project execution.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans, including resource planning, budgeting, and technical roadmap definition.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage the professional development of a high-performing engineering team.
• Manage project lifecycles by conducting risk management, tracking metrics, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Translate complex technical concepts into workable solutions while promoting product reuse and standardization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to optimize processes and reporting rhythms.
• Manage outsourced activities and allocate internal engineering talent to meet specific project demands.
• Build and maintain influential relationships with customers to provide technical expertise and strategic plans.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years of systems technical and project leadership experience in a highly technical engineering field.
• U.S. citizenship status is required for this position.
• Ability to meet U.S. Person requirements for access to export-controlled information.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing the competencies of a team of engineers.
• Proficiency in Lean methodologies, including visual management and standard work.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management, risk management, and engineering execution.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as required by the role.
