Technical Manager – Civil Platforms

What you'll do

• Lead team in defining strategic growth initiatives for Civil Platforms.
• Manage project execution, ensuring compliance with engineering processes and customer requirements.
• Develop and execute structured competency development plans for individual team members.
• Hold team accountable for performance using controlled metrics and continuous improvement practices.
• Allocate qualified engineering talent to satisfy project demands across various projects.
• Provide technical expertise in translating complex engineering concepts into practical solutions.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, clear communication, and accountability within the organization.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of systems technical and project leadership experience in a highly technical engineering field, preferably avionics systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university or college
• Experience as a people leader with demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing teams
• Strong project management expertise including risk management and Lean methodologies
• Technical leadership in translating complex engineering concepts into practical solutions
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and execute on strategic initiatives
