What you'll do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Site Reliability Engineers (SREs).
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems.
  • Automate CI/CD processes and optimize infrastructure for operational efficiency.
  • Oversee incident response, post-mortem analysis, and root cause investigations.
  • Implement and maintain service-level objectives (SLOs) and service-level indicators (SLIs).
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the SRE team.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to production systems while aligning solutions with business goals.
  • Communicate reliability metrics and incident reports effectively to stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a related role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, specifically Java.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of networking, databases, system administration, version control, and CI/CD automations.
  • Experience with container-based technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS is preferred.
