Technical Control Specialist

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain USCENTCOM fixed and deployable IT systems, including transmission systems, hardware, and software.
• Provide Tier I/II support for tech control devices across voice, data, radio, fiber optic, and satellite networks.
• Open, track, and close tickets for circuit outages and GO/FO support.
• Configure and maintain cryptographic equipment.
• Monitor circuits and networks while performing hourly facility walk-throughs to inspect equipment and environmental systems.
• Maintain a Master Station Log and provide daily circuit status update reports.
• Coordinate and document circuit outages and authorized system interruptions with DISA and other agencies.
• Travel to the AOR as necessary to support IT services at forward locations.

What we're looking for

• Must possess an active Top Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Must have a BS degree and 2–4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must have a Masters degree and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must hold one or more of the following active certifications: A+, CND, Network+, or Security+ (preferred).
• Experience working with the USCENTCOM customer performing enterprise IT services (preferred).
• Ability to operate and maintain fixed and deployable IT systems, including transmission systems, hardware, and software.
• Ability to provide Tier I/II support for voice, data, radio, fiber optic, satellite, and C2 secure networks.
• Ability to configure and maintain cryptographic equipment.
