Technical Business Analysis Advisor I

What you'll do

• Gather and document business requirements for payments and core banking functionalities from stakeholders.
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify improvements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and document functional requirements, use cases, and user stories for development teams.
• Conduct schema analysis to ensure data integrity and compliance with financial regulations.
• Design, test, and validate APIs using Postman to meet business specifications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, business rules, and specifications.
• Define test cases and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful implementation.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 to 7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst (preferably within the payments and core banking sectors).
• Strong understanding of payment processing systems and core banking applications.
• Proficiency in API testing and development with hands-on experience using Postman.
• Experience with schema analysis and data modeling.
• Excellent skills in writing functional requirements, use cases, and user stories.
• Understanding of US Domestic and International Payment Clearing and Settlement Systems and ISO-20022.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing payments and banking is a plus.
