JOB TITLE: Technical Business Analyst III
The Technical Business Analyst III joins the Banking Product Management Team within the Core Lending group. This role focuses on the scoping, development, and testing of enhancements for SilverLake and CIF 20/20. You will interact with customers to gather system requirements, define functional specifications, and prepare business requirements. Daily tasks include creating user stories, sprint documentation, and test plans, while also participating in business process re-design activities. You will utilize skills in loan operations, servicing, and processing across consumer, commercial, mortgage, or agricultural lending. The role requires proficiency in banking software, Agile Development Methodologies, SOA architecture, and XML. You will solve complex lending problems by evaluating variable factors to improve process flows and business functions for financial institutions.
Interact with customers to gather and define system and functional requirements.
Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, and other sprint-related documentation.
Participate in business process re-design activities to improve workflow and functionality.
Create test plans and scripts for new products or enhancements to existing systems.
Perform application, system, and regression testing to ensure product quality.
Collaborate with customer support teams to diagnose and resolve software defects.
Research industry trends to prepare the product for upcoming market changes.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 4 years of experience in loan operations, loan servicing, loan processing, lending product management, business analysis, or related banking functions.
Strong knowledge of consumer, commercial, mortgage, or agricultural lending processes and regulatory requirements.
Experience working with banking software, product management activities, or business requirements within a loan-focused environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to work with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams.
Ability to travel up to 10% for internal meetings, conferences, and customer engagements.
Candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of specific regional office locations.
Silverlake knowledge (preferred).
Experience or knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies, Core Business Services, SOA architecture, or XML (preferred).
