This role requires 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years as a TAM or similar role, with extensive proficiency in Okta’s feature sets and platforms, SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and legacy application integration in hybrid IT environments.

  • Build deep relationships with customers as their primary technical advisor.
  • Masterfully apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve complex problems and influence customer strategies.
  • Collaborate with customers to design identity strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify risks, create mitigation plans, and handle most technical escalations independently.
  • Represent and advocate for the customer with cross-functional teams while supporting company policies.
  • Mentor peers and contribute to the development of adoption and retention strategies.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of professional experience in identity management or related field.
  • 3+ years as a Technical Account Manager or comparable role.
  • Extensive proficiency with Okta platforms and feature sets for customer use cases.
  • Solid understanding of SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, OpenID Connect protocols.
  • Experience managing legacy applications in hybrid IT environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical topics effectively.
  • Ability to mentor peers and contribute to team enablement initiatives.
