What you'll do

  • Build deep relationships with strategic federal customers as their go-to technical advisor.
  • Provide expert guidance on implementing and optimizing Okta’s Workforce Identity and Customer Identity solutions.
  • Collaborate to design identity strategies aligned with customer business objectives.
  • Recommend best practices for process changes, product adoption, configuration, and additional features.
  • Resolve technical challenges by coordinating with internal support and engineering teams.
  • Proactively share product insights and deliver enablement sessions to drive adoption.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Account Manager or comparable role in the Public Sector.
  • Solid understanding of identity and access management technologies including SSO, MFA, and federation protocols.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive customer-focused outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical topics into actionable insights at various levels.
  • U.S. citizenship required with the ability to work within 50 miles of Okta's Washington D.C. office.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP or equivalent in information security and identity management.
