As a Talent Sourcer - Temporary, you will join the recruiting team to build talent pipelines for technically demanding roles across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations. You will proactively source passive candidates using X, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, niche technical forums, and AI-powered sourcing tools. Your daily responsibilities include partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to refine strategies, conducting initial candidate outreach and phone screens, tracking sourcing metrics, and monitoring market trends and compensation benchmarks. The role requires identifying top talent for hard-to-fill engineering positions while representing the company culture to prospective candidates. You must possess strong Boolean and X-ray search skills, familiarity with ATS platforms, and excellent communication abilities. This position focuses on solving the challenge of finding high-quality technical talent to support complex aerospace and manufacturing projects.
Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, and niche technical forums.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-demand engineering, manufacturing, and operations roles.
Utilize AI-powered sourcing and research tools to improve pipeline speed and quality.
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements and refine sourcing strategies.
Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens to assess interest and qualifications.
Track and report sourcing metrics and pipeline health data to internal teams.
Represent the company mission and culture to prospective candidates during the recruitment process.
Monitor market trends, competitor talent pools, and compensation benchmarks.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience, an Associate degree and 2+ years of experience, or 3+ years of professional recruiting experience without a degree.
Preferred experience includes at least 1 year of technical recruiting.
Experience sourcing for engineering, hardware, or technical manufacturing roles is preferred.
Must possess strong Boolean and X-ray search skills.
Familiarity with ATS platforms and various sourcing tools is preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to distinguish between the top 50% and the top 5% of talent in specific fields.
Must meet U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible refugee/asylee.
