Systems Technical Manager

What you'll do

• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of the engineering function.
• Performs technical activities impacting the proposal, system design, and manufacture of advanced electronics systems.
• Plans and arranges labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standards and special devices.
• Manages project budgets, schedules, and status reports while serving as a liaison between project management and the team.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and solving problems with stakeholders and project managers.
• Leads the development of strategic tasks and small projects by applying engineering and organizational expertise.
• Identifies technical and organizational risks and ensures they are included in risk mitigation plans.
• Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant supervisory experience.
• Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Highly proficient knowledge of engineering processes.
• Demonstrated ability to meet business expectations and supervise people.
• Ability to identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Demonstrated self-management skills.
