JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer SME w/Poly The Systems Engineer SME w/Poly will join the IT Infrastructure and Operations team to provide engineering support for maintaining current systems within the Intelligence Community. This role involves managing complex systems through various specialized functions, including infrastructure maintenance, storage management, and database administration. Key responsibilities include coordinating mission operations, installing patches, performing data backups, and ensuring optimal indexing. The position also encompasses cyber security engineering to monitor architecture, isolate vulnerabilities, and coordinate incident responses. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in complex systems, system modeling, systems architecture, systems design, and systems development. The work focuses on maintaining operational uptime, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of data services across enterprise IT environments to support critical government and intelligence missions.

What you'll do

Coordinate mission operations support and ensure system uptime by prioritizing ticket fixes.
Maintain physical infrastructure and IaaS services through patching and troubleshooting.
Manage storage infrastructure including data backups, restores, and tiered movement.
Perform technical operations such as cable routing and server room maintenance.
Maintain A/V/I equipment and routing to support mission requirements.
Manage databases by performing backups, restores, indexing, and eliminating fragmentation.
Monitor security architecture to isolate vulnerabilities and coordinate incident response activities.
Review IAVAs, identify risks, and establish patching plans while implementing access controls.

What we're looking for

Must possess a Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance.
Must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance.
Must be a US Citizen.
10+ years of related experience.
