JOB TITLE: System Engineer SME The System Engineer SME joins the IT Infrastructure and Operations team to provide senior-level administration and engineering support for Windows-based network systems. What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and support Microsoft Windows based servers and enterprise applications like Active Directory and Exchange.
  • Perform administrative operations and maintenance for server hardware and software.
  • Design and configure fiber channel networks and manage Storage Area Networking environments.
  • Manage server virtualization using VMware vSphere, VCF, and Hyper-V to provide high availability.
  • Maintain system security by monitoring logs, enforcing baseline configurations, and executing incident response procedures.
  • Provide tier 3 systems support and troubleshoot complex system-related problems.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of junior systems administrators and engineers.
  • Recommend future projects and provide expertise in developing software to enhance operating systems.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must currently possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Must be 8570 / 8140 qualified.
  • Must have a BA/BS degree, or equivalent work experience and certifications.
  • Must have 10+ years of total related experience.
  • Must have 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
  • Must have 4+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, Realize Suite, and VCF.
  • Must have experience with Active Directory, MS Exchange, and Cisco networking.
  • Must have experience with VMware Workspace ONE and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2019.
  • Must have experience with storage area networking, enterprise backup, and hybrid multi-cloud.
  • Must have experience with MS Skype for Business 2019.
  • Must have ITIL Certification (preferred).
