What you'll do

  • Manage system-level integration of the PET/CT image formation chain from raw data acquisition to final clinical image quality.
  • Lead early system performance testing and troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, firmware, software, and imaging physics.
  • Develop quantitative methods and algorithms to characterize, evaluate, and optimize image quality and system performance.
  • Integrate emerging technologies into PET/CT products by evaluating technical approaches and translating them into practical capabilities.
  • Define system requirements, specifications, interfaces, and validation criteria for new product functionalities throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Resolve complex customer and field issues related to image formation and overall system performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, project stakeholders, and senior leadership on imaging physics topics.

What we're looking for

  • Hold a PhD or Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Physics, or a related technical field.
  • Possess at least 3 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably with PET/CT, PET/MR, or nuclear medicine.
  • Demonstrate a strong foundation in medical imaging physics and quantitative image analysis.
  • Experience in system-level testing, image quality evaluation, and troubleshooting complex imaging systems is required.
  • Possess programming experience for scientific computing, data analysis, signal processing, or image processing.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences including engineers, clinicians, and leadership.
  • Capability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across global locations.
