Systems Engineer V

What you'll do

• Develop frameworks for future product requirements during concept and feasibility development.
• Define interfaces, system specifications, and parameters for hardware and software compatibility.
• Collaborate with experts to create system control architectures and resolve design weaknesses.
• Establish methodologies to document and maintain module configurations and system fingerprints during testing.
• Create test plans and conduct experiments to validate new designs against technical specifications.
• Utilize technical documentation like P&IDs and BOMs to troubleshoot, retrofit, or modify subsystems.
• Communicate installation procedures and project results to diverse stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Transfer requirements and technical knowledge to product groups during the transition to alpha phases.

What we're looking for

• BS, MS, or PhD degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 years experience with a Bachelor's degree, 8 years with a Master's, or 5 years with a PhD.
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve problems with design features and devices.
• Understanding of system-level operation including controls, sensors, and interlocks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project), MS Teams, and Sharepoint.
• Preferred experience with instrument control and data acquisition tools or scripting languages like LabView, MATLAB, Python, or VB.NET.
• Preferred experience in Etch and Deposition hardware and RF plasma.
