JOB TITLE: Systems Administrator/Principal Systems Administrator (AHT) The Systems Administrator/Principal Systems Administrator (AHT) joins the Northrop Grumman Defense Systems team to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. What you'll do

Administer and support enterprise VDI platforms including AWS WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, and VMware Horizon.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VDI performance and availability for mission users.
Implement and maintain secure configurations, including STIGs, patches, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
Design and document VDI solutions in collaboration with engineers and cybersecurity stakeholders.
Create and maintain technical artifacts such as SOPs, design diagrams, and system whitepapers.
Execute networking and infrastructure tasks related to routing, subnets, and VLANs for the VDI environment.

What we're looking for

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active Department of Defense Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required.
IAT Level II certification, such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Security+ is required.
High school diploma/GED with 6 years experience, a STEM bachelor's with 2 years experience, or a STEM master's is required for Level 2.
High school diploma/GED with 9 years experience, a STEM bachelor's with 5 years experience, or a STEM master's with 3 years experience is required for Level 3.
2+ years of hands-on administration experience with AWS WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, Omnissa/VMware Horizon, or 10ZiG is required.
Scripting and automation experience with tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell (preferred).
Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DTM) (preferred).
