Systems Administrator V

What you'll do

• Perform Linux and Windows system administration for large government contracts.
• Administer VMware technologies and related virtualization systems.
• Manage all aspects of NAS storage systems, including NetApp hardware.
• Implement system enhancements through installation, patching, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Provide backup and recovery services while managing file systems and virus protection.
• Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security access lists.
• Maintain security audit logs for classified networked and standalone computers.
• Support the Cyber Security team and report on project status for recurring efforts.

What we're looking for

• Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with an adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of IT experience or a Master’s degree with 10 years of IT experience.
• Must possess a DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
• Must have server administration experience with Linux (RedHat Enterprise Linux preferred) and Windows.
• Must have experience performing administration on VMware technologies and NAS storage devices, preferably NetApp.
• Experience in managing systems within NISPOM, RMF, STIG, or other specified information system environments is preferred.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 40 pounds and travel up to 15% as needed.
