What you'll do

Perform Linux systems administration for large, classified government contracts.
Maintain multi-user computer systems while coordinating with network, software, and system engineers.
Implement system enhancements including installing, upgrading, patching, monitoring, and configuration management.
Manage user accounts, file permissions, and security access lists.
Test new product releases to ensure compatibility and minimize impact on users.
Perform quarterly security patch updates across a multitude of virtual machines.
Maintain security audit logs and prepare documentation for the Cyber Security team.
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, a Master's with 6 years, or a PhD with 4 years.
An additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance or higher at the time of application.
Must have at least 1 year of server administration experience with RHEL.
Must have a DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
Knowledge and experience with VMware and virtualization is required.
Experience with Active Directory forests, cross-platform networks (Linux, UNIX, Windows), and Information Assurance processes is preferred.
Must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
