What you'll do

Perform Linux systems administration on large, classified government contracts.
Maintain multi-user computer systems and coordinate with network, software, and system engineers.
Implement system enhancements including installing, upgrading, patching, monitoring, and configuration management.
Manage user accounts, file permissions, and security access lists.
Execute quarterly security patch updates on a multitude of virtual machines using VMware.
Maintain security audit logs and prepare documentation for the Cyber Security team.
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
Troubleshoot issues with vendors and evaluate their products and services.

What we're looking for

Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance or higher at the time of application.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Must have at least 1 year of server administration experience with RHEL.
Must possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or be able to obtain one within 6 months.
For Level 2: Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, Master's with 0 years, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
For Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, Master's with 3 years, PhD with 0 years, or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
Knowledge and experience with VMware and virtualization is required.
Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
