What you'll do

Perform Linux systems administration on large, classified government contracts.
Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems and support multiple networks.
Install, upgrade, patch, and monitor systems to improve performance and reliability.
Create and maintain user accounts, file permissions, and security access lists.
Perform quarterly security patch updates on a multitude of virtual machines.
Maintain security audit logs and prepare documentation for the Cyber Security team.
Analyze customer requirements to determine hardware and software solutions.
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.

What we're looking for

Must have a current/active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance or higher at time of application.
Must have U.S. Citizenship.
Must have a Bachelor's degree with related experience, a Master's degree with , or related experience.
Must have a Master's degree with related experience, a PhD with , or related experience.
Must have at least 1 year of server administration experience with RHEL.
Must have a DoD 8570 IAT Level II baseline certification or the ability to obtain one within 6 months.
Must have the ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
Knowledge and experience with VMware and virtualization.
Familiarity with Information Assurance processes for various USG classified networks (preferred).
Experience of Active Directory forests, including root and child domains (preferred).
Experience of cross platform networks consisting of Linux, UNIX and Windows Servers (preferred).
