What you'll do

Perform daily system administration, operation, and maintenance for physical and virtual environments.
Manage IT server infrastructure including Active Directory, permissions, storage, and Group Policy.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, application, database, and system access issues for first-tier staff.
Administer Omnissa/VMWare platforms and other core site technologies.
Coordinate with hardware and software vendors to analyze and resolve technical issues.
Support Cyber Security compliance, audit preparation, and security vulnerability remediation.
Define and document best practices, technical guides, and support procedures.
Create and maintain accurate documentation to assist with incident resolution.

What we're looking for

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
Requires a BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited university.
Preferably 2+ years of related experience, though additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Server Operating Systems and/or Oracle, RHEL, and Linux Operating Systems.
Experience providing maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of computer systems and networks.
Operational knowledge of Microsoft platforms and/or Linux, and network equipment and architectures.
DOE site experience (preferred).
Active DOE clearance (preferred).
Industry-recognized certifications such as MCP, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, Network+, and/or VMware VCP (preferred).
