What you'll do

  • Lead technical project management for commercial vehicle steering systems across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Translate customer requirements into system requirements using requirements management tools and ensuring full traceability.
  • Coordinate technical activities to ensure integrated steering solutions meet customer specifications and project timelines.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers regarding system behavior, performance, diagnostics, and interfaces.
  • Drive resolution of cross-functional technical issues, risks, and open points to ensure timely project closure.
  • Manage system-level release processes, including validation evidence, documentation, and safety concept reviews.
  • Plan and execute demonstration vehicle builds and retrofits by coordinating mechanical, electrical, and software teams.
  • Report project technical status, risks, and budget costs to management and relevant stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • 5 or more years of professional experience in automotive and/or commercial vehicle product development, systems engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience with vehicle and system test procedures, release processes, and validation activities in the automotive or related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with systems engineering methodologies and requirements engineering practices.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to global development teams, management, and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Knowledge of the automotive product development lifecycle and associated processes.
