What you'll do

Lead a cross-functional team in the design and development of test equipment for the Trident II D5LE2 Ballistic Missile.
Manage the systems engineering development lifecycle including requirements management and system modeling.
Oversee the technical development of hardware and software to support missile guidance systems.
Utilize generative AI tools and enterprise platforms to accelerate systems engineering tasks and improve productivity.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of at least five individual contributors.
Communicate with various levels of management to meet challenging customer requirements and negotiate solutions.
Ensure all engineering activities align with industry best practices and internal department standards.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Systems, Software, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field (Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering preferred).
5+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
Agile experience (preferred).
Leadership experience of a small team and interaction with management teams (preferred).
Experience in systems engineering development, software development (CI/CD, Docker, C/C++, Python, MATLAB), and lab equipment (preferred).
Proficiency in requirements management, system modeling tools, and AI integration (preferred).
