The System Architecture Lead joins the XR Architecture Team within the Multimedia Systems group to drive next-generation technologies for Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Smart Glasses, and Wearable AI SOCs. This role involves collaborating with product management and OEM partners to identify and document specific use cases, which are then used to drive overall SOC specifications. Identify and document use cases for VR, AR, and wearable AI technologies with product management and OEM partners.
Drive the overall specification of SOCs targeting AR, VR, and wearable products based on use case definitions.
Perform system-level on-target profiling to inform future architecture definitions.
Model system-level use cases to validate power and performance KPIs and optimize architecture.
Define and execute HW-SW partitioning analyses.
Execute HW-SW feature analysis to optimize for power and performance.
Develop forward-looking architecture features to influence the overall SOC roadmap.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Ability to work in a lab environment and use hazardous chemicals such as glue and machinery.
