As a System Administrator II, you will join the IT Infrastructure and Operations team to support the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support program. You will work within a specialized training domain involving collective mission command and warfighter functions, ensuring system interoperability and compatibility across complex training environments while following specific DoD directives and NIST security standards.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical support for individual and collective training events in accordance with the MTC program.
  • Monitor, maintain, and perform updates, patches, and backups for system health and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to ensure operational readiness.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.
  • Integrate various components and systems within a Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) environment.
  • Implement and manage security policies and configurations in compliance with DoD directives.
  • Create and update technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Serve as a customer interface to resolve problems and provide guidance to less-experienced staff.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must currently possess an active Secret security clearance.
  • Must have a BA/BS in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and certifications.
  • Must have at least 5 years of related experience, preferably with military or MTC backgrounds.
  • Must hold an IAT-II baseline certification, specifically Security+ CE.
  • Must possess technical expertise in systems, network protocols, operating systems, and security practices.
  • Must be experienced in configuring and maintaining networking hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • US Citizenship.
