JOB TITLE: Network/System Administrator (Net/Sys Admin) II The Network/System Administrator (Net/Sys Admin) II provides day-to-day support for Special Access Programs (SAPs) within the IT Infrastructure and Operations team. This role involves installing, maintaining, auditing, and supporting a secure MS Windows network environment and limited web or data application services. Key responsibilities include managing file servers, firewalls, security monitoring systems, and performing scheduled tape backups. The candidate will utilize Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Office. Technical requirements include working knowledge of CISCO networking, virtualization, LAN, WAN, and communication security integration. The position requires troubleshooting system anomalies, performing hardware upgrades, and ensuring compliance with Risk Management Framework and Common Criteria standards to support sensitive Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.

What you'll do

Install, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment.
Maintain internet applications and protocols including IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL.
Manage file servers, firewalls, network access, and security monitoring systems.
Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance.
Perform periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and system configuration changes.
Execute scheduled tape backups and manage data backup libraries for local and off-site storage.
Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen.
Must currently possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Must have 3+ years of related experience.
Must have experience working within Special Access Programs (SAPs).
Must have IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.).
Must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange Server, and Windows 7/10 OS administration.
Bachelor's degree in a related area OR Associate's degree in a related area + 2 years'.
