What you'll do

  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier IT support for employees on classified systems.
  • Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot air-gapped classified IT systems.
  • Provide on-call and on-site IT support according to a predefined schedule.
  • Perform security hardening of systems using DISA STIGs and other best practice guidelines.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, Windows servers, and Linux operating systems.
  • Write instructional documentation and communicate highly technical ideas in non-technical terms.
  • Implement automation and solutions within air-gapped environments.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Classified IT enterprise systems and solutions.
  • Experience with physical hardware.
  • Experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting air-gapped IT systems.
  • Experience with automation and implementing solutions in an air-gapped environment.
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and other Technical Security Concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, and containerization platforms like Podman.
  • Currently possesses and maintains a DoD approved 8570/8140 baseline certification (Security+, SecurityX, CySA+, CISSP, etc.).
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Experience using Ansible for automation and configuration management (preferred).
  • Experience with a scripting language to automate and solve reoccurring tasks (preferred).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and managing network devices (preferred).
