Supplier Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage a portfolio of suppliers providing pump assemblies, rotating equipment, castings, and machined components.
• Conduct onsite supplier visits to assess process health and resolve manufacturing risks.
• Evaluate supplier adherence to mechanical specifications, manufacturing controls, and technical requirements.
• Lead investigations into supplier nonconformances, pump performance issues, and mechanical failures.
• Provide technical guidance to suppliers on machining, casting, assembly, testing, and inspection methods.
• Drive and monitor the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions.
• Track supplier KPIs regarding quality, delivery, and technical performance to lead improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all supplier activities comply with AS9100, ISO 9001, DFARS, and ITAR requirements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, rotating machinery, hydraulics, fluid systems, or precision mechanical components.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
• Experience supporting pump OEMs, defense primes, or DoD programs (preferred).
• ITAR, and CUI.
