Supplier Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary technical owner for the Anode commodity manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Evaluate and mitigate complex metallurgical, manufacturing, and process-related issues.
• Develop material specifications in collaboration with internal Product Groups.
• Lead supplier qualifications and conduct formal process audits.
• Drive the resolution of escalated supplier quality issues.
• Manage risk reduction and continuous improvement efforts to ensure product conformance.
• Support new product introductions, supplier transfers, and capacity expansion projects.
• Execute technical roadmaps to ensure suppliers meet requirements for quality, delivery, and cost.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree with 6 years of experience or a PhD with 3 years of experience is acceptable.
• Candidates must have equivalent experience to the specified educational and experience requirements.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing, supplier engineering, quality engineering, or materials engineering is required.
• Strong understanding of metals processing and manufacturing technologies is required.
• Familiarity with technical drawings and material specifications is required.
• Preferred experience in metals processing, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, or energy industries.
• Experience with GD&T, SPC, DOE, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, RCCA, and statistical analysis techniques is preferred.
