What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor to customers regarding EEE parts during development phases like PDR and CDR.
  • Interpret complex military and NASA specifications into actionable guidance for customer engineering teams.
  • Oversee piece-part qualification testing, including screening, Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA), and Quality Conformance Inspection (QCI).
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities and conduct audits to ensure supplier compliance with space and defense requirements.
  • Manage supplier corrective actions and monitor performance metrics such as on-time delivery and incoming yield.
  • Implement counterfeit parts avoidance measures and lead investigations into suspect components.
  • Design and implement quality assurance protocols while analyzing production data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain traceability records for lot date codes, manufacturer identification, and serial numbers.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with at least 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 months of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Deep knowledge of aerospace EEE parts standards and requirements including MIL-PRF, MIL-STD, and NASA standards.
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, EIA, and other applicable standards.
  • Solid knowledge of contract language including FARs, DFARs, and related Government regulations for defense and space programs.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, Source Control Drawings (SoCDs), and technical instructions for conformance to requirements.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex aerospace specifications into accessible guidance for customers and internal teams.
