Staff, Software Engineer
As a Staff Engineer on the Space Planning and Execution team, you will build intelligent platforms that autonomously design and optimize physical space across a massive retail network. You will develop ML frameworks, model runtimes, and agentic workflows to govern floor plans, planograms, and modular spaces in stores and depots. Your daily responsibilities include architecting cloud-native microservices, managing CI/CD pipelines, and owning the full software development lifecycle from coding to observability. What we're looking for

Architect and build cloud-native platforms using microservices, containers, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate AI agents and ML components that support multi-step reasoning and automation.
Conduct system design reviews to validate feasibility, quality, and alignment with architectural best practices.
Mentor engineers and junior leaders while managing cross-functional stakeholders and translating business challenges into actionable insights.
Master’s degree in a related field and 2 years of experience (preferred); knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards and digital accessibility (preferred).
